Andrew Graham

Profile Andrew Graham is the former Master of Balliol College, University of Oxford. He was the driving force in establishing the OII and was the Acting Director of the Oxford Internet Institute until July 2002. From 2001 to 2011 he was the founding Chairman of the Advisory Board of the OII.
As well as being a Fellow and Tutor in Economics at Balliol for many years, Andrew was Economic Adviser to the Prime Minister (1967-1969), Policy Adviser to the Prime Minister (1974-1976) and, from 1988 to 1994, Economic Adviser to John Smith, the Shadow Chancellor of the Exchequer and then Leader of the Labour Party. He has also advised the Governments of Australia, Ethiopia and Zambia.
